In the historic center of Bergen op Zoom, just a half an hour’s drive from our holiday park, you will find more than 800 monuments and a wide variety of shops. Submerge yourself in the local culture, shop to your heart’s content, enjoy culinary delights, and take a seat on one of the many terraces with a drink to people-watch.

The old town, with its medieval streets and squares, forms a beautiful backdrop for your shopping trip. Besides small boutiques, there are also many well-known brand stores, cafes, restaurants, and a delightful cozy atmosphere. The ‘Winkelacht’ is a shopping area consisting of ‘t Vierkantje and the Parade – two loops that together form an eight. Bergen op Zoom is the place to be to ‘shop till you drop’.

All the shops close at 6pm on weekdays, but on Fridays, many shops are open until 9pm. Shops close at 5pm on Saturdays and all shops are closed on Sunday. There is an exception; every last Sunday of the month is ‘Shopping Sunday’. On this day most shops are open till 5pm or 6pm. Parking is free in the parking garages on a Shopping Sunday.
